This was my attempt to recreate the technique used in this strobist post. Any simple lighting technique that uses a single light source, I’m all about learning. I want to add another strobe in the near future, but for the time being I’m trying to master what I have to work with.  This was converted to black and white and the split toned using a cool blue for the shadows and a cream color for the highlights.

Maybe this is how parents feel, but I don’t get tired of taking pictures of my dog. Especially in a portrait type setting. I’m sure other people aren’t nearly as excited to see my latest “studio” shot of my dog, but I can’t get enough of it. I’m sure there are other pet owners that understand.
